Organic Sustainable Multi Benefit Wool for Plants

Wool Pellets One Ingredient: 100 % Raw Sheep Wool

Water Conservation, Fertilizing, Mulching, Amending Soil, Starting Seeds and Bare Root Plants

Directions

Keep pellets dry until ready to use. Introduce wool pellets to your soil before you water; wool pellets will quickly react to water and get mushy. Pellets slowly dry and will expand greatly; to about five times the size.

Recommended Application

3% by volume, wool pellets to any soil type.

1/2 cup wool pellets for 1 gallon of soil

1-pound wool pellets for 10 square feet of soil.

Recommended Use

ON TOP OF THE SOIL: Spread a thin layer of wool pellets where you want mulch. Water your wool pellets and gently mix together. The mushy pellets will slowly dry and greatly expand, forming into a dense weed resistant mat. Wool pellet mulch provides several unique benefits. Firstly, conserving water for your plant and improving watering frequency. Wool pellet mulch greatly reduces soil temperature fluctuations. Wool pellets will release vital nutrients; they are a slow-release N-P-K fertilizer. Apply wool pellets anywhere and in the same ratio you would any other mulch media. Wool pellet mulch is tillable too. When you no longer need mulch in that spot, simply till your wool pellet mulch into the soil and it will bring another benefit, soil porosity.

WHEN PLANTING: Place wool pellets alongside or under your seeds. Just a few pellets will provide a seed with a nurturing environment to thrive. Wool pellets work great for either a few seeds in a pot or in a large garden seed row. Bare root trees, plants, and bulbs benefit when a few pellets are added in the bottom of the planting hole.

IN THE SOIL: Wool pellets are a multi benefit product; Water conservation, N-P-K 10-0-4 fertilizer, and soil amendment. The application rate for wool pellets, as listed, is recommended based on Wild Wisdom Wool pellets nitrogen content. Wool pellets are a slow-release fertilizer, meaning, if you add more pellets to your soil than recommended it is ok. Wool pellet nutrient release is slow enough that there is no burning. Wool pellets will continue to deliver vital nutrients and micronutrients throughout the growing season; you only have to fertilize with wool pellets once a year. Wool pellets will instantly conserve water for your plants and add porosity as well. Wool pellets degrade in the soil in about a year and break down any heavy clay.

Storage

Store pellets in a dry location. Wool pellets can be safely stored for several years when kept dry.

Safety

Raw sheep wool naturally contains lanolin. Although rare, lanolin allergies do exist and because of this we recommend wearing gloves while handing the pellets.
