Classic Blend pellets are made from white color sheep wool and presents in your soil with a light earthy color. Several breeds of the quintessential white wool sheep provide the raw shorn fleece to make classic blend pellets. White wool, by virtue of color, is not superior in respect to wool pellets. The prevalence of white color wool sheep both in Oregon and throughout the world avails itself to being an abundant and sustainable product source.
Black Sheep Blend pellets are made from dark color sheep wool, and presents in your soil with a rich dark brown color. A few breeds of dark color wool sheep do exist, and every breed of sheep produces a black sheep on occasion. Sheep breeds with predominately dark color wool are not common or abundant; that is why Black Sheep Blend is a limited release product. This pellet provides the same nutrients, porosity, and water retention as Classic Blend pellets but with a distinct aesthetic.
